"I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005 with a B.F.A. in metals and jewelry. At SCAD I was able to learn a variety of skills and techniques that have allowed me to express my ideas through my work. In Raleigh, N.C., where I now practice what was learned in school, I have begun to explore the use of anodized titanium. I enjoy playing with the variety of colors that can be achieved in this process. Combining this material and technique with the use of buttons, as well as traditional jewelry materials, has enabled me to create pieces that are eye catching and playful for the viewer as well as the wearer.".—Megan Clark
