If not for the free guitar he received his junior year of high school for drawing a T-shirt design, Brandon Clark might have never written his first song. He grew up in North Georgia most of his life, and after graduating high school, he attended the Savannah College of Art and Design. There, he discovered a newfound sense of songwriting, built new relationships, and learned new lessons on life. His first album "Where I Am Now EP" is a result of songs he wrote at SCAD; and writing and playing because I felt the need to explain the things I was feeling. But when people started to connect with my music: that was a greater feeling than anything I felt alone.” After spending his sophomore year of college playing new places and writing new songs, he decided with the aid of his father and drummer, Dave Clark, to go into the studio and lay down a small album. They ventured to Groove Tunes Studios in Alpharetta, Ga., assembled an experienced team of musicians, and with the production help of his bass player, Jason Corrigan, laid down the tracks for the brand new album. The songs on the album are a combination of stories of broken relationships, thoughts on life, and heart sent messages of people I know and have known.” Musicians featured on "Where I Am Now" include Dave Clark on drums, Jason Corrigan on the bass/electric guitar, Russ Still on piano, keys and organ, Andrew Miller on acoustic guitar, and Ali Turn adding in the background and harmony vocals. A special guest appearance was made by Alex Lowe on the saxophone as well.
