After graduating from SCAD in 2019, Erin White pursued a career in imagery, including commercial work, portraiture, and lifestyle photography. Upon moving to New York, she renewed her passion for ceramics, finding fulfillment in making work with her hands. White's thematic ceramic collections center on intentionally distorted and deflated forms. Embracing the likelihood and creative potential of error, her sculptural works foreground the dynamics at play between the artist and her medium, eliciting a deep sense of presence, clarity, and gratitude.
