(B.F.A., graphic design, 2010)
During college, Meg discovered the world of stationery while working in a home & paper goods boutique. One day the owner of the store shared a little ditty about the makers of some of the paper goods she stocked and her whole world changed. Fast-forward 3 years + a graphic design degree + one job at an advertising agency (not for her) + several fantastic freelance gigs (more her) + endless custom stationery clients (very her). She then launched a collection of her very own, which still lives and thrives in College Station, TX.
Meg and her husband, Josh, are both from entirely different parts of the United States (he a Northerner, and she a Southern belle) but met, married, and started life and business together while in Savannah.
In 2011, Meg and Josh created Belle & Union with the purchase and restoration of an 1897 Curtis & Mitchell Printing Press and a big dream to make writings, wrappings, and wares with a unique sensibility.
