Irene McCollam

Gaining her inspiration from Asian Folk Art, Irene McCollam creates ceramic pieces at her studio in Savannah, Georgia. She finds inspiration in the alleys and antique stores, and enjoys working with her hands and being fully immersed in her work, both physically and mentally.

Her work has been featured in Vogue, Domino, Southern Living and Cottage Living magazines, and on MTV’s “The Real World: Australia.” Always focused on clean lines and a spot for the eye to rest, McCollam teaches art in classes offered by the city of Savannah in her spare time.
