Juan F. Sepulveda II was born in 1986 in the city of Ocotlan, Mexico. By the age of three his family had immigrated to the United States where they resided in San Fernando, California. At present, Juan is working on ideas and paintings that portray the satirical and humorist aspect of life. He uses the human figure or portrait to express concepts that can be universal and at times harsh and blunt. He has been focusing on the figure in his works. He uses this universal subject to portray the beauty and horrid aspects of humanity. His paintings evoke a sense of drama and even a comedic poise that dwells with satire and innocence.
